Mini Diarium is MIT-licensed and free to use. No ads, no telemetry, no account, and no features held back behind a paywall: the desktop app you download is the whole app.
Every option below is optional, and nothing in the app changes either way. Starring the repo, reporting bugs, translating, and telling people about it help just as much.
Card, PayPal, or Apple Pay
One-off or monthly, no account needed.
Crypto
Three options. Copy the address you want, or scan it from your wallet after pasting it there.
Monero (XMR)
Standard mainnet address.

Bitcoin (BTC)
On-chain, native SegWit (bech32).

Bitcoin over Lightning
Lightning address. Paste it into any wallet that supports Lightning addresses or LNURL-pay (Cake Wallet, Phoenix, Zeus, Blink, Wallet of Satoshi, and others).
Lightning is the best option for small amounts. Fees are negligible and it settles in seconds instead of waiting for on-chain confirmations.
A few practical notes
- Match the network. Send BTC only on Bitcoin mainnet to the
bc1...address, and XMR only on Monero mainnet to the4...address. Nobody can recover crypto sent on the wrong chain. - Verify the addresses against DONATE.md on
masterrather than trusting a screenshot, a chat message, an issue comment, or a fork. Swapped donation addresses are a known trick in open source, and that file is the canonical copy. If this page ever disagrees with it, please open an issue before sending anything. - Donations are gifts, not purchases. No invoices or refunds, and no obligation in either direction. Feature requests are free and welcome whether or not you donate, and I weigh them against PHILOSOPHY.md on merit.
- Bitcoin transactions are public and traceable. If you would rather the donation not be linkable to you, Monero or Lightning is the better pick.
Where it goes
Back into the project: running costs, and the time to keep building, testing, and shipping it across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Thank you for considering it.
